2024 AM/VI Will Not Be Held
It is with deep regret that the executive board of the International Association of Laryngectomees voted to defer the 2024 Annual Meeting and Voice Institute. The difficult decision was made after careful assessment of the IAL finances.
Over the past few years, our organization has faced significant financial challenges. Despite our collective efforts, it has become evident that hosting the event in 2024 would exacerbate our financial strain. We understand the importance of maintaining the sustainability of our organization and believe that this decision aligns with our long-term goals.
We appreciate the dedication of our entire membership and invite you to share your fundraising ideas and suggestions by emailing office@theialvoice.org. Also, IAL board members will continue to explore and implement alternative ways to provide support and education to the laryngectomee community.
